Ethics Panel of the Czech Association of Interim Management (CAIM)
The CAIM Ethics Panel is an independent body of the association whose purpose is to oversee compliance with ethical principles in interim management, provide support to members in ethical dilemmas, and assess any potential disputes between CAIM members and their clients.
The CAIM Ethics Panel reviews matters from the perspective of the CAIM Interim Manager Code of Ethics in order to fulfil its mission. This is not an administrative procedure within the meaning of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Procedure Code.
The mission of the CAIM Ethics Panel is to strengthen public trust in CAIM’s responsible approach to professional ethics and compliance with ethical standards.
The Panel is elected by the CAIM General Meeting, consists of five members, and is headed by a Chair.
The main principles of the Panel’s activities are:
- Professionalism – adherence to the highest standards of expertise and integrity.
- Confidentiality – protection of sensitive information.
- Impartiality – objective and fair conduct.
- Transparency – clear rules for everyone.
The main activities of the Panel include:
- Administration and updating of the CAIM Interim Manager Code of Ethics.
- Issuing opinions and recommendations on ethical issues in the field.
- Investigating reports (complaints) of unethical conduct by a CAIM member.
- Education and awareness (workshops, best practices, ethical standards).
